Rosemary Kipp Monegue
JACKSON - Rosemary Kipp Monegue, 89, of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, at Northbrooke Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Jackson.
She was born July 7, 1932, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Frederick W. and Mary (Huston) Kipp. In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Kipp Laycock; and two brothers: Henry and Fred Kipp.
Rosemary graduated from high school in Cocoa, Florida. She was employed for forty years as a front desk manager for Brevard Hotel in Cocoa and Roadway Inn in Mobile, Alabama before retiring in 1994. Rosemary was an avid bridge player, and she also enjoyed playing golf and was a tremendous putter. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, TN.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary K. (Phil) Wansley of Cumming, GA; one son, Stephen F. (Lisa) White of Doylestown, PA; one granddaughter, Rebecca White (Peter Granitz); one grandson, Adam White; and great-grandchildren Liesel and Luke Granitz. Rosemary is also survived by her loving sister-in-law Evelyn Kipp, niece Mary Bratsen, and nephews Bill (Julia), Matt, Paul (Anna), FJ, and many great nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery in Wellsville, Ohio, with Pastor Rick Stanley of the Covenant Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
A memorial celebration of her life will also be held at a later date in Jackson, TN.
