Jerry Allen McKenzie
DEERFIELD - Jerry Allen McKenzie, 51, of Deerfield, OH, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at his home following a battle with Covid-19.
He was born September 19, 1970, in East Liverpool, the son of Antoinette "Toni" (Tedeschi) McKenzie of Wellsville and the late John G. McKenzie.
Jerry graduated from Southern Local High School in 1988. He was employed as a technician for Summit Racing Equipment where he had worked for thirty years. Jerry loved fishing and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed every moment he got to spend with his family and was the epitome of a "family man". He attended the Lake Milton Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, Jerry is survived by three children: Zackary McKenzie of Akron, Staci McKenzie of Pittsburgh, PA, and Cody McKenzie of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; one sister, Christine (Tim) Connor of Wellsville; and two brothers: Douglas McKenzie of Wellsville and Larry McKenzie of Hampton, VA. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Cardell Toylar and Grayson Fitch.
The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Ludwig of Everyone's Welcome Church officiating.
Burial will be in Highlandtown Cemetery.
Family and friends may call two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville. The family requires that face masks be worn inside the funeral home.
