He was born June 12, 1934, in East Liverpool, the son of the late George and Alma (Newman) Tice. Ron is reunited in Heaven with his wife of fifty-eight years, Mary E. (Joy) Tice, who passed away November 4, 2015, his six year old son, Ronnie Jr., who passed away in September 1965, and his great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Autumn Smith, who passed away in 1998.
Ron graduated from Irondale High School in 1952. He was a Navy Veteran, having served in the Seebees Division during the Korean War. He used to love to tell stories of being in Antarctica, Cuba, and crossing the Equator. Following his time in the service, Ron was employed as a kiln fireman for Dando Brickyard before his retirement in 2009.
