Obituary of Richard J. Livolsi, Jr.
Richard J. "Ric" Livolsi, Jr.
WELLSVILLE - Richard J. "Ric" Livolsi, Jr., 64, of Wellsville, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at East Liverpool City Hospital from cardiac complications.
He was born November 14, 1957, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Joyce (Milligan) Livolsi and Richard J. "Dick" Livolsi, Sr. of Wellsville.
Ric graduated from Wellsville High School in 1976. Over the span of his twenty-three year career in the United States Navy, he did several overseas tours working in communications until his retirement as a Senior Chief in 2000. He loved the water and could often be found fishing, boating, or just lying on the beach. Ric also very much enjoyed spending time at the home he shared with his fiancee, Kim Fusco, where he was always doing something - yardwork, planting flowers, or tinkering in the garage. Ric was a good carpenter and a football fanatic. He knew all of the statistics for every football player and team, but he was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Florida Gators fan. One could usually find Ric jamming to his classic rock and country tunes, and he attended many concerts. He was an active member of the Wellsville Elks Lodge 1040, Wellsville Eagles Aerie 772, and American Legion Post 70. Ric was Catholic by faith.
In addition to his father and fiancee, Ric is survived by his daughter, Jessica Livolsi (Ryan "Bam") of Brook Park, OH; "step-son", Bobby Wetzel of Wellsville; his sister, Julie Grimm (Brian) of Wellsville; and his two brothers: Jeff Livolsi (Jerri Lynn) of Wellsville, and Michael Livolsi (Christine) of Nicholasville, KY. Also surviving are nieces and nephews: Ryan, Nick, Sidni, Michael, Rilee, Michaelina; and great-nieces and great-nephew: Becka, Journi, and Ryder. Ric also leaves behind several grand-dogs.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating.
Family and friends may call from 3:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville. The Tri-State Burial Group will accord full military honors at 3:00 pm.
