Jeanne Sue Chefalo
LISBON - Jeanne Sue Chefalo, 79, of West Point, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Stone Pear Pavilion in Chester, WV.
She was born May 11, 1942, in Lisbon, the daughter of the late Gerald and Dorothy (Ulmark) Feisley. In addition to her parents, Jeanne was preceded in death on March 4, 1995, by her husband, Pete A. Chefalo, whom she married March 13, 1972. She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Jackie Dodds and Janice Quick.
Jeanne graduated from Beaver Local High School in 1961. She was employed as a head cashier for both Zayre and Hills Department Stores. Jeanne then devoted her time to her family as a homemaker. She is best remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed spending her time cooking for her family, decorating cakes, sewing, and working with ceramics. Jeanne was a member of the West Point Church of the Nazarene where she enjoyed singing in several different choirs.
Survivors include one daughter, Maria McNicol and her husband, Tim, of Wellsville; one son, Kevin Chefalo of Wintersville; and one sister: JoAnne Ciaverella of Belleville, Michigan. Also surviving are five grandchildren whom she adored: Jenna and Emily McNicol, and Tyler, Chelsea, and Melissa Chefalo.
The funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville, with Pastor Mike Simms of the church officiating.
