Carolyn Fay Pander

EAST LIVERPOOL - Carolyn Fay Pander, 79, of East Liverpool, went home to be with the Lord Jesus on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Altercare of Alliance. Carolyn is now united with the love of her life, Earl Lewis "Pooch" Pander, who she was married to for forty-nine years. Carolyn is now in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. She is walking there in the beauty of Heaven with Bob Roseberry, her father, and Margaret Wilson, her mother.

She was born January 30, 1942, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Robert E. Roseberry and Margaret (Beatty) Wilson. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death on April 1, 2012, by her husband, Earl "Pooch" Pander, whom she married April 30, 1963.

Carolyn graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1960. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, Grammy, and sister. The only thing that was stronger than Carolyn's love for shopping and Christmas was her love for God, her children, and her grandchildren. Being Baptist by faith, Carolyn was well-known for teaching her family and friends about the Lord. She read Bible stories to her children when they were growing up and took them to church on Sundays. She was also loved for her sense of humor and wanting to make others laugh. Family and friends were especially fond of her voicemails and videos they would receive from her.

Survivors include her daughter, Marcie Crabtree and her husband, Gary, of Wellsville; her son, Earl Wayne Pander and his wife, Lesley, of Canton; her sister, Patricia Johnson and her husband, Lauren, of Mechanicsburg, PA; and her brother, Regis Roseberry and his wife, Rose, of Powell, OH. Carolyn loved being Grammy to her six grandchildren: Shayna (Seth) Dinch of Wellsville, Skyler Hamilton (Jonathan Huddlestun) of Wellsville, Sydni Hamilton (Angelo Luckino) of Wellsville, Kyle Stinson of Canton, Jordan Stinson (John Swagger) of Chester, and Zane Crabtree of Wellsville.

Family and friends may call from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of people in the funeral home at one time will be limited to maintain proper social distancing protocols.
