Kaytlyn Brooke Gilliland
EAST LIVERPOOL - Kaytlyn Brooke Gilliland, 30, of East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman due to heart failure.
She was born November 30, 1989, in East Liverpool, the daughter of Diane (McIntosh) Shafer and her husband, Rick, of Hammondsville, and David Gilliland of Chester, WV. Also surviving is her step-mother, Tracy Travis.
Kaytlyn was an avid basketball fan and had played for the girls' high school basketball teams at Wellsville and East Liverpool.
In addition to her parents, Kaytlyn is survived by her son, Hunter Collins; her fiance, Curtis Bredeck; her sister, Karen Culp; and her brothers: Kristopher McIntosh, Ian Travis, Jim Bailey, Ethan Travis, and Adam Bailey. Also surviving is Kaytlyn's paternal grandmother, Mary Gilliland.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Dale McIntosh and Edna Emler; and her paternal grandfather, John Gilliland.
Friends and family may call from 2:00 - 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to adhere to social distancing guidelines, the number of people in the funeral home at one time will be limited. Also, as mandated by Governor Mike DeWine, face masks are required to be worn while in the funeral home.
A private family service will be held.
