Franklin D. "Frank" Newlan, Jr.
WELLSVILLE - Franklin D. "Frank" Newlan, Jr., 57, of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born April 23, 1963, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Martha Jean (Patterson) and Franklin D. Newlan, Sr.
Frank graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1981. He had been employed as an industrial insulator for Abel Mechanical in Columbus. He had also owned Frankie D's Bar and Drive-Thru in Wellsville. Frank was a football fanatic and an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Barborak-Newlan, whom he married August 11, 1990; his brother, Lee Newlan of Guilford Lake; and his sister-in-law, Tracy Barborak of Wellsville.
According to Frank's wishes, no services will be held.
Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville is entrusted with his arrangements.
