Uncle Jim always loved playing ball with me and my brother. We would ask him to toss it to us! He loved doing fun things with his niece and nephew, Robert DeLeo.

Many favorite memories as Jim and his family lived in same neighborhood. Sledding ride down Buckeye hill, playground and as Jim mentioned to Debbie numerous times playing Red Rover!! Special thoughts, prayers and condolences to Debbie and all the family. RIP Jim.

My favorite memory of my brother was on buckeye ave. Him and the other brothers decided to throw a big black snake that was dead onto the phone line coming into the house. That damn snake was hanging there for at least a week. So gross for me to look at every time I walked up the driveway. Boys will be boys. RIP brother. The family will miss you. Give mom dad Sue and Margaret Jane a hug from me!

As many of you know, my dad, James “Rookie” Reed passed away peacefully after a long fight. He was determined to stay and was a fighter.
For many years my dad was a volunteer fireman, but he soon realized that running away from burning buildings made more sense than running toward them. He promptly retired after many years.
He was a lover of sports. When us girls was little and when we went with him on the weekend, we always were tortured by watching him play sports. He was an avid basketball, tennis, soft ball, and football player. Plus, he refereed many sports from grade school, middle school, high school, and Ohio State College football games. Maybe I should ask 6 Cleveland Browns players to be pallbearers, so they can let him down one last time?
He was a talented and a charming dancer and you could always see him in his GQ white suit with his orange shirt. He was the orneriest out of 10 siblings. Until his dying day, he was very proud of his hometown and displayed his love for it.
He loved to fix things and when he did, he always needed more duct tape. Anything you could image that needed fixed, could and would be fixed with duct tape. Oh…..and the many cans of spray paint.
Orange…. No words needed here. He loved the color orange. Everything was orange, even his favorite truck that he would let me drive at the age of 10.
He was never one for sentiment, but he wanted you to know that if he owes you a beer, and if you can find him in Heaven, he will gladly allow you to buy him another (he really wasn’t much of a drinker- lol). He can likely be found telling tasteless jokes.
He had faith in his catholic beliefs and we would got church on Sundays, you would find us sitting, kneeling, and standing; sitting, kneeling, and standing for hours on end.
Perhaps most important to dad was the education of people holding in their farts. All I can say is anywhere and everywhere, he did not care and thought it was hilarious. However, he was unable to attain his life-long goal of catching his beloved wife Debbie “cutting the cheese”.
Dad, we will surely miss you!
