Obituary of Gus A. Klavuhn

Gus A. Klavuhn

 

WELLSVILLE - Gus A. Klavuhn, 78, of Wellsville, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019, at St. Mary's Alzheimers Center in Columbiana.

 

He was born September 10, 1940, in Cumberland, Maryland, the son of the late Gus E. and Catherine (Forebeck) Klavuhn. In addition to his parents, Gus was preceded in death on May 2, 2017, by his wife, Janet (Coen) Klavuhn, whom he married June 30, 1960. He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Amanda Faulkner.

 

Gus graduated from Wellsville High School in 1958. He was employed for several years as an equipment operator for Pusateri Excavating Company before his retirement.

 

Survivors include one daughter, Cheri Graves and her husband, Steve, of North Port, FL; one son, Mark Klavuhn and his wife, Sharon, of Wellsville; and one brother, Joe Klavuhn and his wife, Carla, of Lake Tomahawk. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Rachel (Nate) Davis of Wellsville, Sara (CJ) Diequez of Wellsville, Danny Faulkner of Salem, Kristina (Conor) Faloon of East Liverpool, and Brittney Faulkner of North Port, FL; and four great-grandchildren: Landon Lilly, Brock and Drake Davis, and Ryder.                   
 

The funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating.

 

Burial will be in Calcutta United Presbyterian Cemetery.

 

Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
