Obituary of Cletus Glazebrook
Cletus W. Glazebrook, Jr.
WELLSVILLE - Cletus W. Glazebrook, Jr., 72, of Wellsville, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019, at the Veterans Hospital in Pittsburgh following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 22, 1946, in Colby, Kansas, the son of the late Cletus W. Glazebrook, Sr. and Mary (Rhodes) Skinner. In addition to his parents, Cletus was preceded in death by his sister, Beatrice M. Rood.
Cletus graduated from Wellsville High School in 1965. He served in the United States Army for sixteen years and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of the Rolling Thunder Chapter 2 of Akron, the Wellsville American Legion Post 70 where he served as the Chaplain, the Wellsville VFW Post 5647, and the Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of The House of Prayer in Calcutta.
Survivors include his wife, Donna (Ammon) Glazebrook, whom he married September 23, 1992; his step-father, J.R. Skinner of East Liverpool; one step-daughter, Crystal Hawk and her husband, Scott, of Salineville; and one step-son, Steve Dock of Wellsville. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Rachelle, Terry, Seth, and Sarah; and many lifelong friends.
The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, February 8, 2019, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Kim Gadd of the church officiating. The Tri-State Burial Group will accord full military honors.
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
