
Obituary of Charles Potts
Salineville- Charles Herbert Potts, 69, of Salineville, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018, at East Liverpool City Hospital.
He was born February 24, 1949, in Wellsville, the son of the late Clifford and Olive (Crawford) Potts. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Lucas; and two brothers: Otto Potts, Sr. and James Potts, Sr.
Charles attended Wellsville High School. He joined the United States Navy in 1968 during the Vietnam War. Along with an honorable discharge, he received the National Defense Medal as well as the Vietnam Service Medal.
Survivors include two sisters: Gail Clark and her husband, Tim, of St. Clairsville, OH, Etta Coil and her husband, Skip, of Salineville; and one brother, Robert Potts and his wife, Gondie, of Riverton, WY. Charles is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A private burial will take place in Spring Hill Cemetery at a later date.
