Zachary Paul Alfred Cochran, of Lisbon (formerly of Rogers and Wellsville), died unexpectedly on March 3, 2021, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 35.
Zachary was born on May 6, 1985, to Paul and Lisa Cochran. He graduated from Beaver Local High School in 2004. Zachary was employed as a tower technician with the Cobansa Group and had worked in the cell phone tower industry for many years.
Zachary was preceded in death by his father, Paul Cochran, and maternal grandparents Harold and Rita Congrove.
He is survived by his fiancee, Ashley Brown, and their daughter Claire. He is additionally survived by his mother, Lisa Cochran of Lisbon, his sister, Nachelle (Stormy) McGrath of Lisbon, niece Lena Cataldo, nephew Paxston Cataldo, paternal grandparents Alfred and Bonnie Cochran, three great-nieces, Brooklynn Rose, River Anne-Marie, and Tahvianna Lee-Ann, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. Zachary will also be missed by his faithful dog and best buddy, Ollie.
Zachary loved playing disc golf, fishing, hunting, and spending time at home with his family. He will be remembered for his love of The Ohio State University football and the Miami Dolphins. Those who knew him knew he was a loyal friend with a heart of gold. Above all, his favorite thing in the world was being a dad and anyone who knew him knew what an amazing dad he was.
Family and friends will be received at The Center at the Wellsville First Christian Church, 305 9th Street in Wellsville, on Sunday, March 7, 2021, from 4:00-6:00 pm, with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 pm. Following the conclusion of the funeral, Zachary's family and friends are invited to the Wellsville Sons of Italy Lodge for dinner and continued family support.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, face masks must be worn at all times and social distancing protocols must be followed.
