SALEM - Nollie Fields, 94, of Salem, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, at Essex of Salem.
She was born June 3, 1923, in Knox County, KY, the daughter of the late Samuel and Axie (Warren) Messer. In addition to her parents, Nollie was preceded in death on March 9, 2015, by her husband, Jack Fields, whom she married April 6, 1946. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Brian Fields, and one sister, Vada Varrish.
Nollie was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
Survivors include two daughters: Donna Curry and her husband, John, of Key Colony Beach, FL and Debbie Anthony of North Carolina; two sons: Jack D. Fields and his wife, Kathy, of Leetonia, and Lonnie Fields and his companion, Sue Hilderbrand, of Alliance; and two sisters: Chelsea Bannard of Cincinnati and Hester Sipes of Bucyrus, OH. Also surviving are six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Dyer officiating.
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Tuesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
